What’s with friends that can’t chill? I know some people that make it seem like they have no idea how to comprehend any notion of merely sitting the fuck down, and mellowing out. They always have to be talking about something, or worrying outloud about something or someone; after awhile, the incessant noise – that is, the sound of their voice (which has no signs of stopping) – gets unbelievably annoying. On top of that, it also appears that the ‘possibility that you are annoying and all of us are indeed justified about being annoyed at you’ is impossible, and that it’s ‘just us.’ Meaning that our complaints hold no value and therefore they are not noteworthy. And the annoyance continues. Anyone else have any 'friends' like this? Oh on top of that I have another interesting question for you guys: Isn’t it so true that the mindset going into a high is so damn important? I was thinking this the other day, and it struck me how much I could relate and the relevance of that statement in my life. What about you guys?
well you can talk and still be chilling. but i know what you mean man i like sitting back in my chair and just saying funny shit real relaxed real high if you know what im saying. hell yea, i dont smoke weed with people who cant do that.
I guess but when I'm high with my friends we normally like to talk to each other, but we do have some breaks where we are all zonin' hard.
yeah, i've got a friend like that. his behavior is summed up by the fact that he never sits down. or lays down or anything like that. he's always standing up, even when everyone else is just sittin around toking and relaxing. it is pretty uncomfortable
im one of those people who can never sit down and its because im so tall sitting is uncomfortable for my knees. i get so much shit for it. im of the opinion i can stand if i want and you can sit if you want so stop bitching.
i like to smoke and just chill and keep the conversation minimal and turn loud music on I hate it when it doesn't turn out that way

My crew use to smoke with this guy named Ethan. Every single time he got high he always wanted to start some shit and fight somebody. Like we'd all be high and chilling, maybe munchin' on some doritos then he'll bring up that someone owes him half a sack from like a month ago. I'd just look at him like who the hell cares about half a sack. Eventually stopped smoking with the kid. I also believe the mindstate going into the high is very important. Like I'd rather smoke when I'm happy, instead smoking to become happy.

The main problem that I have with my friends is that many of them just dont know how to do nothing. They come over to my house while I'm just chillin, doing nothing but smoking a bowl listening to the sounds of the day, and expect me to entertain them. If I didnt say, "Hey, wanna go out in public and do something active?" then I probably dont want to go out in public and do something active. There are times for being loud, bubbly, and social, which I very much enjoy. But you cant do both at the same time.
Even the notion of getting a few people together and hanging out is bullshit to a lot of people I know. They wanna go to a party and get fucked up. Funny thing is none of them drive, so they have no problems. I dont drink and drive so that's not the best for me. Being sober around drunk idiots who say "just one man, just one" fuck that pisses me off. Yeah, some people just don't know what it means to relax, they think they're always going to miss something.
There's always someone that can't relax but then you can find others who do. Put on a movie and it'll usually chill people out. Luckily the person who I smoke with most of the time, my roommate, knows how to relax.
