Anyone have experience with these Molino bongs?

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by Z12Z, Feb 24, 2009.

  1. lol

Are the molinos that bad even when they are 4.2? or is the 4.2 inconsistent?

  2. Haha, so would you recommend against that Five to One? If so do you have any other recommendations for something in the $100-$150 price range?

Support your local headshop bro. And from what i've read, people aren't too fond of them. You can find one that's better quality for the same amount of money or possibly a bit more. Just keep looking locally or at other sites around the web.

  4. Buy from your headshop.

The only time I recommend buying online as opposed to a head shop is if they don't have what you want and there isn't ABSOLUTELY any other place to get it.

  5. Ya my head shop doesn't have the greatest selection of bongs, great pipes and such, but maybe I'll go check it out tomorrow and see what they have again. Thanks guys.

  6. Look around your area for other headshops. If you're near a metropolitan area, there are going to be at least a few with a pretty wide variety.

  7. my buddy had one jus like that but with a worked mid section... it wasnt a terribly bad bong but not something i would buy myself

  8. I know how you feel. I have two different headshops. One for pipes. One for Bongs lol. Just look around online to find other headshops in your area. Good luck with your search.

  9. No name or small name tubes arn't BAD or anything, just inspect whatever one you get to make sure it's quality, and get it at a local shop.

As I understand it, molino's crap.

  10. definitely the emporium for bongs...maybe soco sunshine, they're getting a better selection these days.

which one do you prefer for pipes though?

i hate all the pipes 'round here. nothing ever pops out.

  11. Actually Emporium is my favorite out of all of them. Fair prices and a good selection of everything pipes and bongs.

I actually went to Eclipse for my bong. I got it for 75, about 4-5 mm thick, glass on glass.http://forum.grasscity.com/toking-tools/342560-loook-new-bong-buds-lots-pics.html#post3984798

I went to Emporium for my pipe. In which i posted but i really don't feel like finding the thread.

The pipes around here are cool. Just gotta catch them in the right spot at the right time. And unfortunately all the headshops are pretty well spread(Minus the loop three right in walking distance OH YEAH! Oh and Area 51 and Eclipse) out if you REALLY want to shop around.

Sorry for the long response OP

oh, yeah, the emporium is definitely the best. i just snagged their 9mm illadelph tube the other day.
not a fan of the sunshine in the loop, i've had bad luck with pipes from them. i'm guessing the other shop in the loop youre referring to is the tobacconist. they're alright...i've only bought a hookah from 'em.
i've bought tons of pipes and bubs from the gravois shops, but never a truly quality piece.
that place on lemay is whack. i don't think people even know it's there. which is a good thing.

    thread jacking is over, OP!
    my bad!

  13. it looks pretty nice

  14. I think it's stylish, and it's Pyrex, which is one of the more durable materials, right...? I think all that matters is if you like it, and the price doesn't seem bad at all considering the precooler is included... IMO.

  15. But keep in mind it isn't glass.

  16. Local headshops all the way, like everyone else is saying unless they don't have what you want look at all the close headshops.

Mine is pretty reliable nothing special but considering I spent 40 dollars I got what I paid for.

  17. Your location says you're from mass, if you're in the Boston area go to Sugar Daddy's. The labeled prices are always high but you can talk them down from there. They have a nice sized shelf of name brand GonG and some smaller, cheaper ones hangin' around too.

Don't forget to talk them down, they mark up.
