Anyone have experience with the Pulsar 7?

  1. I might be getting a portable vape sometime in the future, hopefully soon-ish, and pen vapes seem to be just my style. I haven't owned a vape before, but I need something compact and as dirt cheap as possible, and I love the style of pen vapes. I just need something that can work with herb, as I don't really have access to anything fancy (oils, waxes, etc.). Something simple, cheap, and compact.

After much researching, I finally settled on the Pulsar 7. It might still be a little while, and the G-pen caught my eye as well, but they still haven't announced their dry herb attachment yet, and theirs is still more expensive. I've seen the Pulsar for about $70.

Anyone have any experience with it? Or does anyone have any better suggestions for me? Any input would be much appreciated :)

  2. dude your best bet for something portable and worth the money is the Pax by ploom youll never seek another again

  3. I'll admit, the Pax looked awesome, but it's way out of my budget. $250 vs. $70? I'll take the Pulsar...

Also, the Pulsar is more compact. The Pax is portable, but not quite in the pen category. It's a damn fine looking vape though.

Be warned, you often get what you pay for in this market (sans volcano). There's a reason the pax is 250, and no 70 dollar pen vape is going to be worth it imo unless I see some proof otherwise. There's countless vapes that claim the same with a similar design but are practically useless.

  5. The pulsar 7 is a fine vape the ceramic element is fragile but it produces a decent vapor cloud and has decent battery life. You won't be disappointed.

  6. OP just be aware that in the world of vaporizers, you get what you pay for. Portable vapes especially.

  7. the reality is most of the companies are just marking them up more. pulsar is a pretty high grade item, and its better than the atmos RX that cost $180. you can even feel the two pens and when you compare them the pulsar is better. the reality is most vapor pens are really just rebranded e cigs with no other adjustments. This is why most of them are not strong enough to hit dry herb. The most effective dry herb hitter is the vaporcone elite and it also hits waxes harder too - its not just rebranded - the voltage is adjusted so it can hit dry herb, and subsequently it hits waxes harder too. I reccomend checking that out before buying anything, they have it on amazon now Amazon.com: Vaporcone Elite Kit: Electronics

  8. like i asked on the other thread how was the voltage adjusted? since i am a ecig user and know about these ego batteries enough to know that to ask a question and call bs on it if its the wrong answer. how does a pulsar 7 compare with a thermovape? or even the up coming hercules?
