I know it's super hard to estimate considering strain etc but this was an old bag seed from lemon haze don't know what it cross polinated with but she grew nice, currently week 2.5 flower, she's outside getting intense direct sunlight for 8 of her 12 hrs of light then she's under 400 real watts of led One 600 wat blurple One 1800 watt cob LED for the remaining of her light period. So far the buds are way bigger then they should be for 2.5 week in so I'm guessing should be a nice yield I also threw in some other pics of my outdoor, they're all being lst I've got the axillary shoots (bud sites) grown right out making an even canopy for flower they are being transplanted into 17 gallons Thursday and will be vegging for another month, I also train my roots ik it sounds weird but it's the way I water after a dry period I only dabble little streams of water along thee edges of the pot to make the roots search then after a night or two (time to build root mass at niggt) Ik y'all gonna say 17 gal too much for only a month maybe month an a half veg from 3 gallon but I'm telling u my plants get bound so quick it's insane. Like I'm kinda worried about the one flowering I'm really hoping I don't have to transplant her during flower she's in a 5 Lmk what u guys think, if there's anything you'd do to increase yield now/ make them more resinous I am feeding with Medi ones 4-3-3 with liquid weight and resin for the flowering one, and just the normal medi one 4-3-3 for the rest, my soil mix is pro mix bx mycorrhizae with dolo lime/kelp meal/bone meal/bat guano and worm castings, thanks y'all cheers
My buddy thinks I'll get a half p from the rubber maid one lol, another month.5 maybe veg then mid August sometimes early flower starts
Why would anyone say a 17 gallon pot is too big? Not even close. The plant in the big blue tub will easily pull a half pound. I’d say more though. Indoor plant plant looks on track for 2.5-3 weeks.
Some people say 17gal is too big to put in right after a 3 not saying it's too big this year I was late so I didn't do my 100gal smart pots, next season 100000% but thanks man other growers knowledge is much appreicated, what about the one flowering right now any thoughts on that, in very good at transplanting once plants r bigger n very very rarely shock them, should I throw her in a bigger pot aswell or do you think I can finish her off in that 5, I wanna let her finish but at the same time I'm pushing towards a bigger pot just incase.
IMO you’re fine in the 5 gallon. I started my first grow in 7’s and when I switched to 5’s I saw zero difference. Depends how long you let them veg for. Everyone cries root bound and to me that subject is way over exaggerated. 3 gallon to 17 gallon is not an issue. I have my outdoor in 10 gallons, keeping size down because of neighbors, and transplanted from 1 gallons to the 10s with no issue. If someone says 3s to 17s is an issue they’re just being retarded.
Absolutely man then again I can't really guess how much the one flowering gonna yield tho Ik it's kinda hard but I'm aiming low at 2 ounces just cause I don't like getting my hopes up, but then again I have her trained pretty nice and with all those budding sites at the top, I have a feeling she could maybe go in 4.5oz if I keep feeding her Medi one 4-3-3 along with green planets liquid weight and resin suppliments, it's been sooooo long since I smoked bud of my own lol I'm super excited and wish I could put my body on autopilot for work etc and just jump to harvest day
I am currently vegging/training a plant my goal is veg for 11 months in a 50gal so till next june 1st then letting her do her thing outdoors in a 100gallon immagine the size of that plant
Where exactly are you planning to veg a plant for 13 months? And plant size depends on pot size. But for sure a 100 gallon pot will get you a giant plant.
I've got 2 huge rooms to grow in and a basement now, so I was thinking near the double back door so I can get her back outside lmao, n ik what ur gonna say next "but what about size isn't it gonna hit the roof, no absolutely not I can train very well, I have a garage (insulated) that I can keep heated during the winter and do it in there as well
I just don't want to waste that long vegging a plant if it's just gonna die off I just wanna know if it's possible still before I keep it going if not then eh another plant to harvest this year
I don’t see any white stuff other then perlite. But sure man in theory if you keep a plant under 18/6 you can veg as long as you want, but I can’t speak on the benefits of it. People are growing straight monsters just vegging in big ass pots in one outdoor season. And that’s what? 3-4 months of veg at most?
