Anyone grow the Mazar strain?

    So I'm planning next year's grow and really want something extremely sedative and trippy. So I found a strain on dutch passion seeds that I think fits the bill. It's extremely sedative but also has a trippy high. Lots of good reviews and even comments like it's for people with high tolerance and some the most potent weed they smoked. Some comments it was too strong. But for me that's even more attractive. Especially with all the functional high weed they sell in the shit dispensaries for pussies that don't know what weed used to be like and sure the hell wasn't functional by any means. Or the crack weed that you can't sleep on. Also do not like alot new strains like shit wedding cake, gelato, etc. Stuff is way too weak for me. I want to bring back the old knock out coma strains. Anyone here grow mazar before?

    I am growing 2 plants now. Along with nonterm lights, amnesia haze, alcopuuco gold, kbb my kalifa and bigbud crossbred and og kush, I may manifold the mazar next time its thick and bushy big buds starting. Only in the 4th week of flower. Good Luck.

    I’ve run Mazar crosses in the past, but I’d have to dig into notes to see what they were. I remember liking them a lot tho!

    I've grown Mazar twice and A-Train (a Mazar cross) twice.

    From my experience it's a fairly sweet and mellow smoke with some spice to it, the A-Train being the sweeter of the two. If you are looking for knock out high you might wanna find a different strain, as it's always felt like a low/mid THC strain for me. It's not bad by any means but it's a strain I was looking to smoke when I had shit to do during the day and didn't wanna be completely blitzed lol.

    I've also grown grown both gelato and wedding cake and both those strains had a nice heavy high that would help me fall asleep. Definitely weren't weak to me at all.

    most of the Mazar(strain from afganstan) strains ive tried and grown were seeds from dutch seed sellers and were crossed with skunk ,but they were easy to grow ,good high and stone ..mac,

    Yeah but I bet it didn't sedate you...knock you out like some the strains I smoked in the mid 2000s. I'm talking about coma stuff man. I want something that doesn't just help you sleep... two hits and you can barely move kinda stuff. I can't stand gelato and wedding cake. That crap has taken over the dispensaries. It's fine if they want to carry new strains but not offer any of the classics is not cool. It's weak for an indica in my opinion.

    hi there olav .if you are talking about the trichomes ,i usually have say 10% amber ,the rest i like to see cloudy or white ..to many ambers makes me very sleepy s0 i just like a few ambers...luck with ya plants ,,,mac,

    I usually go 50-70% amber but each is own. I'm obsessed with sleep. In my opinion its that best part of life lol. But it makes growing much harder and stressful going that long....so wish I wasn't so picky.

    yep ever one has their own opinion on what the right way when to harvest their weed ,,i dont bother really its what you like you grow it and you know how you like etc ,,but as well it depends on the strain as well etc .just find what you like and thats best,,,if you share with your mates you will notice that they will like it ,(mainly because you have the weed and their haven't and its smoking your weed and its a free smoke :) mac,

    I'm new to growing, got one successful harvest under my belt. I ran two Automazar seeds under 315w of CMH lighting indoors. I got just under 5oz a plant dry even though I funked it up by underwatering in late flower. High temps were also a problem throughout, due to poor ventilation.

    The bud was alright, tasted like kelp from the dry amendments I was feeding. It came out very weak, but it was a very pleasant stone.

    It stays relatively short but produces dense, resinous buds with a strong earthy, piney, and hash-like aroma.
