Any blades read Raymond carver? Favorite stories?
I've read most of his stuff. Some of his stories are dull (particularly his early ones) but the rest are amazing. I really like Where I'm Calling From and Cathedral. My favorite is probably What We Talk About When We Talk About Love. I've probably read that story 8 times. I've never read any of his poetry, though.
I haven't read his poetry either though I will likely check it out soon. 'what we talk about' was good, I liked it but read it for a class and maybe thats why I didn't enjoy it as much as the collection of stories I'm reading now, 'will you please be quiet, please'. I will have to read 'What We Talk About When We Talk About Love' again.
I have a few favorites by him but Cathedral has to be #1
