Anyone else listen to chip tunes?

  1. Here's an example of a chip tune:

    Chip tunes are basically retro-style songs that are created with technology that emulates the sound chip from old video game consoles. I know it sounds fucked, but give it a chance, it's so awesome.
     
  2. yea i dig it i actually like listening to old school video game music in general earthbound,donkey kong country,legend of zelda but yea i use to go to a website called 8bitpeoples.com they have a pretty big list of albums and eps for free go check it out
     
  3. Nice! I like all of the tunes from those games, as well.

    Video game music is soooooo underrated for sure. People just don't 'get' it, haha.
     
  4. The music from the Mega Man X series is fucking awesome. I would put the game in just to listen to Storm Eagles theme. Retro games can have some pretty amazing OST.
