i hate texting.. and lucky me, my generation pretty much obsesses over it.i used to text a shit ton, mostly to my ex-gf (gf at the time).. because if i didnt text her, she would freeeeeeak at me thinking im boning some other chick or something. during that period, i missed out on family things.. and i really wish i didnt. now, that im single, i only text for some reasons, like, trying to score some nude pics, or if i cant call the other person. i realized how much i hated texting when my friends would come over and we'd smoke and theyd be chillin, being fuckin cunt butlers and texting their girls the whole time. i told them to stop being vaginas and to enjoy the moment.. anyways... rant is done, and.. texting sucks anyone else agree?
nope. not at all. i would much, much rather text than call. i hate talking on the phone. plus its easy to ignore a text message. what does get annoying though is the whole gf issue, like you brought up. if i dont send a text for like, 20 minutes it means i MUST be doing something awful. yeah. or i'm just sitting on my computer watching a video and didnt feel the vibrate? chill out. but oh well. i cant complain much, i kinda do the same thing to her lol.
it seems like people are scared to talk on the phone i got people in my contacts that will text but not fucking talk n it pisses me off when im drivin n tryna get shit done. basically texting is for when u gotta waste time
im with you OP. i hate texting. especially with girls. conversations over text are really boring to me. phone calls are good though. i still text a lot, but usually its when im in class or just making plans with someone
best way to get a girl is through texting. girls LOVE texting. if you can sneak a few smiley faces in, youre golden.

I only text to schedule an event to meet up to people not for socializing, also I don't like talking on the phone either I prefer face to face communication.
the thing i dont like about texting is that they can be misread so easily. Without being able to convey emotion or tone of voice in a text i feel that i am being misunderstood
i text sometime but i HATE it. if i do text people ESPECIALLY fucking girls i'll end the convo in a matter of 5 texts. i remember when i had the cloest thing to a girlfriend i could handle, she would text me none stop. it got to the point i would just straight up ignore her unless i had something to say or wanted to hang out. every morning i woke up "heyyyy baby how was your sleep" which was nice the first time.. eventually turned into "text me back or we're through" so i'd text her "okay goodbye" then she'd send me a million texts saying she's sorry but she wouldn't just stop fucking texting me i remember i was drunk one time and she kept texting me and texting me and then started calling and i picked up eventually an she's like what are you doing blah blah blah blah and i was like i'm underwater and threw my phone in the ocean.. pretty dumb but i was so happy lol fuck txting nothing good comes from it. only time i like texting is setting up drug deals in front of ppl that don't like drugs. now that's awesome
