Anyone else feel the amount of strain names are getting silly.

Discussion in 'Marijuana Stash Box' started by Sir Tokes Alot, Feb 12, 2009.

  1. I'd like to see more strain names that use scientific nomenclature, descriptions of traits in Latin.

For example: "lentesco puniceus," which means sticky purple.

On the street, it could be shortened to lentes pun, or tesco, etc.

  2. Durban Poison has been around for a long time kid, not a "new" strain.

  3. Strain names are POINTLESS in my opinion, only good for marketing purposes. In my opinion it should be just indica or sativa dominant for medicinal purposes. Ill stick to calling my bud how it smells and tastes not by giving it some crazy fruity pebble panda pussy name. You should just say hey i got some skunky dank, or piney, fruity, lemony, etc etc.
