Yeah I've got an Xbox 360 but right now I'm going through a massive old school phase. I've set up the Nintendo 64 I got when I was 5 years old out, all set up with Mario World and Kart. Thinking about purchasing a NES off a good mate for some real gaming. Anybody else?
If anything, get yourself a Super Nintendo over a regular. The original NES was great, no doubt about that, but the Super had so many better titles. I don't have mine hooked up at the moment, but I have an emulator on my computer, so I still play Super Nintendo weekly.
I still play my old Nintendo 64 once in awhile. its in a drawer right under my tv in my bedroom. if i can't sleep or i'm bored I'll connect the cables real quick and play. Mostly only play rogue squadron though lol And once in a great great while I'll bust out my Atari Jaguar... system came out during the playstation days if I remember right. Didn't last long. Had a couple cool games though. Have Aliens Vs Predator on it. It's first person, can play as an alien, predator, or space marine. All 3 have different campaigns. Still probly the best Aliens vs Predators game out there IMO... even though thats not saying much.
Ya mostly just super nintendo. i just bought a few games for 64 but im missing the power cord. hopefully buy a power cord and orcarina of time soon.
Anything from the nes to the n64. Just repaired a nes I bought from the thrift store, they sell all kinds of retro gaming items for cheap.
I have a bad ass nes emulator on my phone w/ some mike tyson's punch out, excitebike, ninja gaiden, ninja turtles all that shit. Contra, bad dudes, skate or die. It takes me back.
Never saw one of those. That's awesome. I'm going to have to get one. I always like playing my 64 emulator, but found it difficult because I was using a controller resembling one of a playstation.
Just a heads up but it doesn't take well to most third-party controllers, and it's annoying having to configure it at first but there should be some quick guides online.
these things are why goldeneye online tournaments are possible. never played in one but that would be the shit.
They have systems that play both NES and SNES games now, I'd get one of those... or get a Wii and purchase all your old school favorites.
