High all !! I'm going for my 1st grow and wondering where to buy all the equipments.. I'm thinking about go for hydro, would it be too complecated for 1st grower?
It might be too complicated, but worse off, it will be espenive as fuck. I say you do an Organic, indoor grow with simple things so you can get experienced. Soil grow HPS or Flurecents, no need to get a MH and an HPS unless you habe the money. HPS would be better than a MH if you just get the one. Are you livin alone? Or are you trying to hide it?
Ewwwwwwww, USA. Thats discusting. I mean the US has some sick ass places to live. But then you gotta remember that your whole country is run by an idiot. I'm sure theres 8th grade kids who would make a better president. I'd like to live in some sick place in the US like California or Florida but I dont want to be governed over by a stupid monkey. Plus Canada owns all.
thanx for the tips ozzy, I better go with soils then. and yes, I live alone but there's some stupid manager checks every room bi-monthly coz someone is already planting geens and it smells everywhere I drove to east hastings st. today and found seed bank, but they were closed. Looks like they are having some growing 101 class every sunday!! May be the store owner can give me some tips if he's a nice guy? *Edit* Do you know some cheap place to buy HPS around 400w in local store at BC? Or should I just use CFL from beginning to flowering?
He checks Bi-Monthly eh... Thats gunna be pretty sketch. You could pull it off, but it will be sketch. Does he give you heads up or does he just come randomly? You realize your house is gunna reak. If you have a sepereate room thats sealed off, with carbon filters and stuff, then your whole house wont reak. But there will be the buzzing of fans, and lights, and you have to have an air duct to move the air outside and circulate. Do some intense reading before you buy stuff or you will end up never using them.
Good thing is that manager always send letters before they come for check. (otherwise, it would be illegal) And since I'm in his 'good residents list', who always pay rental checks every month on time, they don't search every square inch when comes in. I have two bathrooms so I'll use one bathroom as grow place. I did read many stickys and think I'll go with TheCloset's Perfect Odour Neutralizer. It would be hassle free and I don't have to install any tubes or fans through wall. Beside, bathroom already got fans on top sealing so it will pull out (and hopely pull in too) airs which hopefully Neutralized by PON so there won't be any funny odor comes out from my fan to outside building. And for the seed, may be I'll try Northern Light #5 since it claims it is good for newbie and smells less. Or a Lemon Skunk which claims smells like lemon when flowering.
