Any ways to make downstem longer

    I have a homemade bong and the stem is bowl is a upside down socket with a zebra pen and screen in it so its all metal but its to short so i added a plastic pen but thats not safe...
    so does anyone know how to make it longer to go towards the bottom of my bottle its acrylic and the size of a flower vase...
