Any way to tell good seeds? And foot tall female prices?

  1. Are their any signs of telling that the seeds you have are healthy or of good parents or anything? This guy wants to sell me 55 seeds from his grow for $20. He said he grew "ak" but he has no proof or anything. I used to talk to this guy more years ago but now we dont really talk and this seems kinda sketch. They mostly look dark green and kinda fat. A couple of have a light patterning that reminds me of a leapord frog.

And how much is a foot tall month old female worth?

  2. Absolutely no way of telling what the genetics are like by looking at the seed.

  3. Anyway to tell if the seeds are healthy and likely to mostly germinate?

And do you have any idea on how much a month old foot tall healthy looking female is worth to buy?

  4. That is different. Yes, put them in a glass of water for 24. Those that have sunk will most likely germinate. Those still floating are probably duds.

  5. Are you purposelly avoiding the plant question? I didn't think that the purchasing of illicit items was taboo on this site, just the selling of.

Thanks for the help with the seeds though.

  6. just get some seeds from a seedbank its not that scary as people think just dont get it sent to your house some people do But I dont I like my freedom

  7. Not at all. I have a foot tall female surplus to my requirement. Yours for €20 . Buyer collects.

  8. I have, I ordered 2 bags from 2 different companies so far, but I was getting a lot of 55 seeds from this guys grow who I know, and was just going to germinate them and throw them in a field on my vacation property in upstate NY.

So 20 eruo, thats like $28 usd? Is that a typical price or are you just fooling around?

  9. Sold one for exactly that last week, €20 that is.

Same price to you, buyer collects.

  10. If you're using bagseed from a descent to like high mids bud than you'll prolly have a good amount of seeds. The better one are the bigger, browner ones while the shitty ones are real small and white. So when seed picking look for the bigger browner ones.

Correct me if I'm wrong I dont know much about growing other than that.

  11. Seeds that are brown or medium-dark grey generally are the viable ones, meaning likely to sprout. They may or may not have black spots and/or stripes. White or green seeds are immature and have almost no chance of sprouting. Other than that the seed color and markings cannot tell you anything about the strain or potency of the plant it will grow. Seed size really is not an indicator of anything either.

  12. lmfao 20 euros ??? fo real i was ganna sell one of my plants for like 80$ bucks to this guy ... canadian bucks tho but styll !!!! didnt end up selling it tho cuz i luv ma plants too much fo dat i respect ma plants

  13. Not sure if upstate NY is ideal grounds for growing pot. You're probably just wasting your money by doing that.

  14. As far as I've heard it is. The soil is a little rocky but the combination of pine needles constanly falling and leaves falling every autumn makes the ground almost like compost. Also, it gets pretty warm there from may-oct mid day, but temps drop quite a bit at night which Ive heard is good. Also the fact that I could plant a whole acre of weed if I wanted to and no one would ever know makes it ideal for me.

But I have another question. What are the succsess rates of seed germination? B/c I put 3 seeds in a glass of tap water and its been almost 24 hours and they are all still floating. Upside is that I got 11 seeds and paid for 10.

  15. Well i'm just saying that you're not going to get the maximum yield like a potted grow. No ferts or pH control. The pine needles may make it too acidic. Also, it will take a whole growing season since you can't induce the flowering/vegetation stages. But good luck and tell us how it works out!

  16. If you buy a foot tall female for 20 bucks you could clone it and have many plants in a short period of time....

  17. But with the yield I could get I think it would be worth the wait, i was actually going to plant them this year and not harvest till next, allowing this crop to die and rot and fertilise the seeds to grow next year so I have even more plants.

As far as my seeds not sinking, I just picked up the glass and when I picked it up all 3 fell to the bottom, guess they needed a little vibration to break the bonding of the water molecules to fall through. Gotta go tupperware these guys up with same paper towel blankies for the night.
