No, you can not change the strain. But there are flavorings that you can put on your bowl before you smoke.
of course. most fruits you would like to put on has acids and other nuts that could throw off the plant + why would pouring anything on it absorb the flavor not just the nutes?
ive read of someone using Orange juice but only like a day before harvest or something really close to harvest... im not 100% sure but i dont even know if it works. and i wouldnt recomend it do to it being experimental. weed dont taste taht bad, not like smoking tobacco lol.
some of the best growers swear by guano, fruit bat and seabird, to enchance the flavor. it wont change it, but should make it taste better. best weed i ever tasted was growin organic..like tangerine....aahhh memories
I believe you can add mollasses or sugar to th water in the last few weeks to sweeten it, but do a search first. Also, there are strains that tatse like strawberries or other things. Your final option is to buy liquid tobacco flavoring at a smokeshop or headshop and sprinkle/spray it on the buds after harvest.
I have heard that you can add items to the curing like an orange peel or a stick of gum to add a slight flavor or scent.
what i do and it actually works, take your bud, put it in an airtight glass jar or something with a pack of flavored papers (rolling papers) and in like 2 weeks its nice and flavored/scented. i discovered this by accident, but it was a good find =)
Using the search function you would have found that buds turn purple when the plant undergoes stress from cold temperatures in the last stages of flowering.
