Just wondering if anyone here does door to door sales, my dad is the general manager of a roofing company and sales seems like a shitty, but very profitable first job and maybe a career. 19 years old, just out of highschool so bye bye friends and hello real world. Retail jobs seem like complete bullshit because if I'm going to talk to people all day anyways might aswell be making money doing it. Pretty much have a free ride to college if I decide to go but I really don't feel like writing stupid 10 page essays on shit ill never need like in HS. Need some thoughts from people who have more life experience, please no bull shitting your occupation, only give me information if you've actually been there and done that. Tldr: Need some career advice and some stories from currently happy and content individuals.
