  1. I'm curious as to how high winds can get without damaging my baby? I haven't seen a thread posted on this and I stroll through here frequently... winds aren't supposed to get over 10 mph this week and I wanted to make sure that it was safe to leave them unsupervised

  2. you're fine. start worrying around 30-40 mph. anyone else?

  3. How big/old are they? But under 10mph you'll be okay.

  4. I go out with a back back blower and hit my plants at full blast. 10 mph is nothing.

  5. Just don't let your neighbors see you blowing your plants off :p.

  6. I do his while I am at it. He pays me to tend his plants. He can't grow to save his life.

  7. if your really worried about wind, tie them to stakes. Problem solved.

  8. I live in sf and grow outdoor.. I regularly get 15 mile an hour winds with gusts up to 25. left to their own devices your plants will be fine. these plants are actually very good at adapting to high winds, im growing 5 different strains and all have formed thick but surprisingly flexible stems as a result.
high wind could be a serious problem if you were moving a more mature indoor plant outside. the most important factor for wind resistance seems to be early and frequent exposure starting when the plant is a seedling.

  9. Dyna gro pro tekt. Feed them. Early and often. Liquid silica. Problem solved. Stake them in late August tho.
