I've been growing for three years indoors, and I've only grown the same six strains. I'm starting to look for a new strain and a different website, I went through their choices none really interest me. So my question is, is there any must-see websites I never visited or just any really reliable website with a big variety? Thanks...
Hi A1Piff, With all of the breeders & literally thousands(?) of strains & crosses to choose from you can't find anything interesting enough to grow. It just boggles the mind Cheers
Here's a different Q then. What strain or top 5 strains (if you can't decide on just one) would you suggest. Looking for potency more than anything.
nevilles haze. the race horse that deserves to be mounted by the brave(and grown by the patient) Widow is up there for me too. Good OGKush, but good fucking luck on getting something in seed form with everyone pumping them out these days. The original (OOG kush? LOL) is something to talk about. Same with Sour D. It has somewhat to do with genes, but getting that "one" in X pheno seems to be the trick. Had some pretty sad 'widow', then ive had drooolin stupid stoned widow... night n day.
You should pick up some world of seeds legend mazar kush. That stuff will put you on your arse, pretty sure its 100% indica as well.
Kali Mist (Serious) Northern Lights (Sensi) Blueberry (DJ Short) C-99 (don't know who has real Cindy these days) Widow is a good staple as well...go with Black Widow from Mr Nice...
Norcali, you are pretty much right on the mark with your entire quote, especially on obtaining the right genetics to come up with a good pheno. This year I grew out WW and OG Kush, some is decent, and other plants are fair. The seeds I purchased early this year from a reputable seed distributer were all viable, but the genetics wasn't as great as the distributer's comments about the strain made it out to be (or what I was hoping). My Sour D didn't turn out, but the plants looked great. I want to try growing it again, but with a different seed breeder. Sometimes it's just plain luck getting that right seed that has all the good qualities one is looking for in a particular strain.
OGxWidow sounds like what I'm looking for. This last question popped into my head does anyone know what strain has the sweetest or strongest taste? Thanks.
If you could find some real Durban Poison...it's a 15+ week pure African land race sativa with a very strong anise taste...it would get my vote for strongest taste...maybe because I'm not a fan of anise...great high though...
