i planted sum seeds, after about a week the shit started sprouting. i aint usin no growing lights, just regular sun light. Is there still a possibilty my plant will have buds ?
Well first off, what type of growing conditions is it under, and what type of magic weed are you using? I see you're from Chicago. Is this an indoor plant? If so, how big of an area? Are the lights for the room constantly on or how often are they on? Are you using fertilizers or are you going straight forward? If it's an outdoor plant, do you bring it in at night? ferts? pest control? I guess what I'm doing is figuring out how you have things planned out. The better you follow a strict schedule on how to grow weed, the better the results. Fill me in on the details and I'll try to help with how much yield you'll get. Ash23
It is an outdoor plant...the temperature has been ok here in chicago, on the days its not i keep the plant inside where it gets lots of sunlight at a temperature of about 70 degrees. the space i got it in now is not very big, its a circular pot bout 2 feet in diameter. At night should i still keep the room lit?
im not using ne fertilizes or pets, im goin totally organic the plant gets a good 10 hours of light a day and its always at a constant temperature
For the first week of my starting plant I had light on it 24 hours a day, then when I knew it was ready I went with an 18/6 until I wanted it to flower, then I went 12/12. Beings you're not using any ferts it won't get as big a yield... you're figuring about 1/2 ounce to an ounce tops. Make sure to check the PH levels say every 2-3 days to make sure it's in the safety zone for growing... if you have questions on that, use the sticky guide at the top of the forum page for beginners. Other than that... only time will tell. I live about 4 hours from Chicago in Wisconsin, (just north of Platteville if you decide to look it up) So if it grows well, please keep me informed. What I'm working on right now is an indoor greenhouse effect. Quite interesting if you ask me. I have it drawn out for now but I haven't built it yet. I'm taking my closet 3'x4' and wrapping the whole room in plastic with a PVC frame. I am deciding on whether or not to create a misting system from the PVC or not. Inside the "tent" I'm going to wrap the bottom 1/2 in Aluminum foil, as smooth as possible and just keeping the mylar look of the plastic for the top half. Inside I'm going to put 2-3 lamps with 2-bulb inserts of 34w Cool White bulbs 24" long or maybe the 36". This SHOULD create the greenhouse effect I want. To cycle the air I'm going to use one of those window fans that have 2 fans side by side... turn it upright and put one on intake (bottom) and one on outtake (top) to cycle the air. As for the plants themself, I'm using the system I have used on friend plants through a constant drip system 50dps through each plant of ferts and ph stabilizers. Pretty simple setup and I only spent $75 on it. (Yes I have the supplies just haven't put it to work yet) Ash23
do u recomend i start keeping the light on it 24 hours hopefully this weather starts getting warmer i feel more comfortable keeping it outside... about how long after it has flowered will it produce buds ?
How far along is your plant right now (estimate if you're not for sure)? If it's still within 2weeks old I'd go 24 hours until 2weeks. After that go with the 18/6 routine for roughly 2 months. After that switch to the 12/12 routine for it to kick into flowering. From there it's about another 2 months for it to fully get done. You'll know by this time because of how centralized the crystals are on the buds in the center. When you're finished with that, trim the leaves off leaving the buds in the center, cut into sections and hang them some place to dry.

I'd recommend using fertilizer. Use tomato fertilizer that you can get at wal-mart or wherever. Make sure to use 20-10-10 or one where the first # (nitrogen) is higher. only in flowering do you want the 2nd and 3rd (Phosphorus and Potassium) to be higher. Like 10-30-20 or 10-60-30

Johnny, First off, Where do you live? Second... are you paying for the gas lol! Well I don't know if I'm an expert, but I know my information is good. If I can get my room ready to go I'll take step-by-step pictures of how I built it. And if I decide not to put in the misting system, I'll tell you how.
