Any input on my first outdoor grow?

  1. Hi guys I started growing this plant about 11/12 weeks ago around the end of may indoors, it sat in a window sill for the first part of its life before I moved it outside and into a bigger bucket.

Since then it's been sat out in a greenhouse under what's left of the british sun/summer getting around 12/13 hours of daylight (not direct sunlight all day everyday due to shadows though) but i guess because of this the plant assumes it's time to flower.

I've started to see one or two little hairy pistols emerging everyday from about quarter of the way up the plant, I've attached some pictures hopefully you can see them in the photos.

I just wanted to know if anyone has any tips for someone growing outdoors, kind of letting the plant doing it's own thing in undetermined whether and how long i should expect to keep looking after it for?

My girlfriend wants me to hurry up and move in with her, but not until i'm done with this

    Thanks in advance!

Those plants look like at one point they were not getting enough sunlight.  Probably when they were on your window sill.

It's good that they are flowering now.  You are running out of growing season.

Minimum of 2 months before you'll be able to harvest and could be up to 3 months depending on the strain/genetics.

As for advice:  More light next time.  Those plants should be way more bushy.

Haha no she wouldn't have this at ours we would have nowhere to put it! and yeh it's been fun practicing I really knew nothing when I started this and still don't know nearly enough to produce a good plant

Yeh unfortunately when i first started growing it i wasn't sure if i was going to keep it so i was just growing it for the hell of it indoors.
I just left it without clipping or pinching any branches or doing anything to improve it's growth apart from some nutrients.
But because I've now fallen in love with it I would love to see it through to the end but the only way it's going to live really is if i was to bring it inside and put it on a healthy light cycle or something. I hope it doesn't die by autumn :(

  5. Right on man

  6. Looks pretty good, just a little lanky. Nice and green though.

I would read up on topping and LST'ing if you're planning on doing another one. It's good to spread the plant out to get it lots of light and all the small "would-be" stems and bud sites will turn into top nugs.

  7. props to you for keeping away from the GF for so long, all my buddies rushed to get married... wat fagzzzz......

  8.
Yeh my freind was talking about topping to me once but i was so baked i couldn't remember what it ws, sadly this will be my first and last  I wish I came here when I first started growing it.
