I started to notice white stuff on my fan leafs, any ideas? It's been pretty warm so I didn't think powdery mildew. Sent from my SM-S911W using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Not sure it's powdery mildew, but kinda looks like it. Couple things to check, though. Check the top and under the leaves well for any kind of bugs. I use Neem oil for those and you can also make a home remedy with a mixture of baking soda and a mild soap like dawn. A tablespoon of the baking soda and a teaspoon of the soap in a gallon of water should do the trick. Pest control is very important to your grow. I recommend treating the plants once a week even if you don't have a problem. 2 to 3 times per week if the problem persists. Also could just be water drops. Do you water just the soil or the plant itself? Perhaps sprinklers are getting to it?? Hopefully there's a simple solution for you. Good luck and rock on!!
Ive reviewed ur post history to make sure i wasn't being presumptuous...it's PM. Even in dry heat it can grow from the overnight moisture outdoors. Outdoor growing is whole different ballgame. You can spray it with a Plant Therapy or mix your own. Search Rollitup.org for "Plant Therapy DIY Recipe" by mudballs to make your own. I was banned from RIU so you'll have to do a bit of legwork for me.
