Hello i am new to the whole growing aspect of this beautiful part of nature. And i was wondering if i might share with you guys what i have gowing on and see if you have any ideas or feedback. 1st step i germinated the seeds in a wet paper towel waited for a lil bit of pink to show on tail (took aprox 5 days) 2nd step used miracle grow organic potting soil placed germinated seed into center about a inch and a half down and tail down. 3rd step placed them into the closet that is now a dedicated grow room. that is the place i am now i will tell you about the room It is a medium sized closet aprox 4 ft by 4 feet by 8 and a half feet tall the lighting i am using a Sun Systemâ„¢ 150 Watt HPS Grow Light System with 16000 lumins. Tommorow i am planning on putting a small fan in there and i leave the door open for most of the day and keep the light on 24/7 as i am doing the sog method i look forward to your replys
might want to get something on your floor like pond liner or some thing, grows tend to screw up carpet.
from my experiances tarps are shit in these scenarios, water always seems to get through then, and same with growing mold on the bottem. since its a closet maybe try and grab a scrap piece of linolium or something. a piece of pond liner would be very cheap as well, maybee cheaper then a tarp.
