Hi there guys. First grow so take it easy. Details: Growing from seed, germinated seeds for 48 hours. Most of the seeds cracked and showed tails before planting. Growing medium is peat moss currently. Watered once when I planted the seeds no more than an oz of water. pH of the water is around 6.7 low ppm around 100. Light is 250W led and 33W blue spectrum. Lights are fairly far I'd say around 2 feet. Temperatures are around 80F under the light. Using red solo cups half filled, clear cup on top as a humidity dome. I spray the inside of the cup once and breathe into the cup for CO2. It's been about 48 hours since I planted the seeds. Most are showing growth, some are looking unorthodox from my perspective could be wrong. It looks like either it may be too much light or not enough humidity. (Leaves are curling down?). Potentially I planted some seeds the wrong way maybe not deep enough? I pulled the lights back a little bit. And I used my humidifier to fill the cups with mist to hopefully raise the humidity. Straight peat is very acidic my friend, it also looks like your mix doesn't have enough aeration, right now your girls need plenty of aeration and a very gentle seed starter mix, once true leaves come out I loose the cover, I would get my hands on some seed starter mix and fill those cups to the top with it and repot those seedlings....
Couple still have the seed husk on em i dont see what the problem is. Once a seedling sprouts typically cotyledons unfold and it begins life. Its gonna take a minute for it to take off, its all good. Dont overwater em. Lower your light IF and only if they start stretching.
Hey I should have clarified it is a starter mix just a peat starter mix. But it is for seedlings. I will transfer into coco after.
Changed my lights to two CFL's instead about 60W I believe it might have been temperatures and too much light. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
