Any heady glass in WISCONSIN?

from what i hear, pipefitter's in madison was trying to work out a deal with roor and illadelph to get some of their tubes, as well as getting heady glass shipped in from colorado. last time i was there, about a month ago, they had kc ashcatchers, mike fro, voorhees, and some other good stuff.

 

pipefitter in madison is sweet. I just picked up an illadelph tube from there. Right now they only have illadelph and ph(x) tubes. and graffix(maybe??). but they have a decent selection of other heady slides, bubblers, and pipes as well as Kind Creations inlines and a/c's. Overall, the besst selection of glass you will find in Southern WI.

Comments: It's a cool hippy store with a ton of grateful dead and other band clothes with a small case of pipes/bubblers. Small selection with some real cool stuff, supposedly they have a blower in montana who ships them here. The stuff is overpriced though.

Comments: All glass, no other "head" items...mostly prodo, 1 small case of headies...maybe a bearclaw piece or 2 w/ ridiculous markups, lacklustre selection of overpriced, no-name GonG tubes made by "their" blower...pretty expensive and has a "no deals" rule.

obviously stores evolve and change inventory, so the comments may not be ENTIRELY accurate but they paint a picture of the past at least

 

there's a place in waukesha that sells glass called discfunktion. they have some no name bongs, a brand of GonG tubes called Phire, a bunch of prodo pipes with some nice handblown pieces, a few vapes, prodo and handblown bubs, a whole shelf of GonG slides, and pretty much every other accessory. if you get their tshirt, you get 20% off your purchase whenever you bring it in with you. i got a real nice stemless diffused straight tube Phire for 200. it was 240, but i got the tshirt for 10 bucks and they took 20% off. they just got a bunch of new Phires in, and they had some beaker bottom minis with 18.8mm diffuser, dome perc, and ice catch for 180. 275 for a big straight tube with diffy, dome perc, and ice catch. that's not including the 20% off for getting a $10 dollar shirt. i suggest checking it out for only being like 20 mins out of the city. PM me if you have more questions. oh yeah, and knucklhead's in milwaukee carries grinders and stuff, but NO glass. dont go there for pieces. dan k's blows in house, but everything is marked up, all the glass is like pinkish clear, no color except for color changing glass, good luck getting anything GonG there, and the workers seem like they dont like customers. i've done the mke glass runaround many times before, and i can tell you the only place worth checking out in the city is closet classics. one of the employees claimed to blow some of the glass they have, and it appeared handblown and was dirt cheap. that's pretty much how everything is there. 35 could prob get you a dub bub, and 80 got me a vape. otherwise, go to waukesha.

 

nice man, how much did it run you? i'm looking to pick up something from there myself. they're definitely stepping up the quality of their products there too, i chatted with one of the people who works there, he said they want to start carrying more heady and high-end glass rather than the prodo shit they always have.

 

in Racine theres cosmic corner its not really good. they have some cool stuff but mostly carry dry pieces. any of there bongs are overpriced.

in Kenosha theres somthing different which is a store that has a bunch of sports stuff but in a back room they have alot of no name pieces. prices arnt too bad. they do have ssv vaps.

also in Kenosha on the the I94 thers a place called superb video its a porno shop that has the best selection of bongs around me they carry name brand. i forget what all they carry but thats where i got my ADS from and they also have the best prices around here.

 

my 17" 7mm rasta label illa straight tube cost $240. They also threw in 2 free shirts and when I went in a few days ago to buy a new slide (Big Z), they gave me some $$ off and some other free shit. But the people that work there are real nice, I always end up talking to them for a while when i stop in.

But anyways, Iv lived in milwaukee and madison, and pipefitter has the best selection iv seen (been to DanK's, Greenfields, Discfunktion, Soundwaves <- all Milwaukee stores). Admittedly, pipefitter does not have a large selction of unique, quality glass, but they stuff that they do have is the best you will find around (i havent checked out some of the places slippeh mentioned tho). And, to OP, they have a few of the KC inline a/c there, so if thats what your looking for you should be good. And, i know for a fact that they are talking with roor to get some tubes in soon as well as more heady, high end glass.

edit: just looked up Good Times glass on the web and it says the shop is now called Fat Pinky glass. I might have to check this place out. the website says "Other artists at the Store include Billy Goat, Freeeek, Keef, Eric, Luke, and Joe" - not really sure what this means, ya think Billy Goat and Freeek actually work there?

Selective video east side...all I have to say, check it out, they at least have a really good selection of bongs with good prices. Workers are kinda dicks seeing as its a porn shop lol

 

Closet Classics is a great headshop worth checking out. They carry Sheldon Black, HiSi, VIP, Medicali, Bent, Inductive Labs, Maverick, Boom Felazi, Blown...ETC Easily the better choice for Milwaukee Headshops...hands down.

 

I like selective (east and west) for their bongs and such. Would prob hit up smokes on state if I were to get a piece again. Up in lax we have deaf ear records, chill AF, Im a regular there and all the employees know me/my friends and hook us up. Smokes 4 Less right across the border in La crescent is amazing too. Ever in the area I suggest you check it out just for the buy 1, get 50% of that purchase in store credit deal.

I talked to one of the guys at Smokes on state about getting ahold of glassblowers to make me a custom piece but ended up not doing it.

 

i know for a fact that kind daze in a small town called plymouth has a peice by freek there and another heady peice by another artist

Hell yeah dude discfunktions is my shit. Last time I went there they had oil rigs, they're stepping it up. Haha. But whenever I go blazed that guy just stares at me like "yeah, you're stoned. get the glass, leave, go smoke more" and I'm like ok. But he doesn't seem to give a straight fuck.

If you know where city news is they got some sick bongs its like discfunktions without the shirt, and boy do those shirts help. I like both all in all. Have you ever been to blue glass? My friend went there they had some dope shit but that was a year ago and they got fatty selections
