The idea of a autonomous neighborhood that is 420 friendly sounds awesome but I've also heard they have a lot of crime.
When I went to Denmark I walked through Christiania! From what I hear, things have changed a lot since a couple of years...It still is pretty impressive. You walk in there, and big signs are visible saying no pictures allowed. In the main ''street" there are some skinheads behind tables selling hash. A lot of nice old buildings with paintings/graffiti on them. Some people sell food from like a cantina, and loads of marijunana accessories. Worth the visit! It was a societal experiment, I think the Danish government is less supportive of it now; hence the hash vendors and not straight up weed.
It kind of worked if not many people have heard about it. I don't see people being like yeah let's go to Denmark and get so blazed! Haha. I hear it's a place where you can go and just be. If you want to stare at a tree all day, that's fine. Open up a local business, that's fine, too! Sounds unique.
