Any bad ass movie suggestions?

  1. I love action movies with good acting, good dialogue and which have badass manly characters in them.

    Ive watched:
All die hard, all lethal weapon, pulp fiction, reservoir dogs etc.

    Any suggestions?

  2. here's a few:
almost any move with Jason Statham, especially Transporter, Death Race, and War
    Casino Royale
    Quantum of Solace
    The Boondock Saints 1 & 2
    Law Abiding Citizen
Inglorious Bastards (one of the best movies ever IMO)
    Hurt Locker

shit I have a terrible memory when it comes to recalling movies

The dark knight. Batman's a badass if you ask me.

And then there's predator. Doesn't get much more badass than that.

Blood Diamond is a really good action movie. Leonardo dicaprio's character is pretty badass.

  4. Taxi Driver, Cape Fear... pretty much any DeNiro movie. It helps if it was directed by Scorcese.

  5. Taken is a pretty badass movie

also war. with that guy from the transporter.

training day. nice classic badass movie with denzel washington
valkryie. with tom cruise is a sweet movie about nazis

    just to name a few

  6. kung fu hustle funny and crazy at the same time

  7. Haha ive watched all the above mentioned:p

  8. Don't forget about the Departed. Not so much an action movie, but it's pretty much as badass as it gets.

  9. I second that

  10. The Hurt Locker....

    AWESOME war movie...just amazing!

  11. Ong-Bak Thai Warrior
    The Protector
    36th Chamber Of Shaolin

They're all foreign martial arts films, so it's kind of a pain having to read subtitles, but they're pretty badass. The first two are newer and star Tony Jaa, who's skills rival Lee's at a couple points. 36th Chamber is older, and more comedic (not on purpose), but still has lots of badass shit.

I'm not even a big fan of these types of movies, but I thought they were worth watching.

  12. for some utterly fantastic acting by some of the best actors ever, watch

    Glengarry Glen Ross

Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alec Baldwin, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris, Kevin Spacey, Jonathan Pryce

    Glengarry Glen Ross (1992)

    Amazing action and amazing acting

  15. I like to smoke and watch "The Edge" sometimes. It has Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin. It's a survival movie with a killer bear that stalks them as they try to find their way home.

  16. Most bad ass movie i have ever seen is "Bronson" about England's most violent prisoner of all time

  17. Afro Samurai.

  18. C'mon blades, your forgetting the bare essentials.

    Mad Max2: The Road Warrior.

    and

    Natural Born Killers.

I guarantee you will not be disappointed with either of these films.
Ever wanted to see Brad Pitt use a honey jar for a bong?

Me neither, but it makes fucking great cinema.

  19. the mad max trilogy is awful.
(re)watched it on dvd a couple of years ago - what a waste of time...

    unless you're 15 or younger i don't think it's worth watching

whoever thought mel gibson had potential based on these poorly executed 'movies'?
