Too much shit to choose from in bunnings , eyes fuckin hurt from reading lol , and half the posts on here are Yankee soil we don't have ere Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yeh unless you want to start a worm farm ignore anything about adding ewc cause we can't get it. I made my own soil and am using it now. I have a second batch cooking at the moment made from peat and searles 5-in-1 compost with added lime and a few other things. Nothing fancy but i found that compost to be finer and it's better quality, contains all the stuff you want and it's organic certified. 8 out if 10 of my grow problems have always been potting mix so i gave up buying it.
Ok might grab a peat block and soak it and grab a bag of searles and some lime and cook a batch up , u still using nutes ?? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Been looking at this ozi magic grow juice range ! Looks pretty good , not sure it's organic 100% Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I'm not using nutes this time around i'm just gonna let them go until i start to see any deficiencies and feed them teas (which are basically just organic home made nutes anyway). If you get lime make sure it's dolomite lime (masters has it in powder form). 1 cup per cubic foot. searles 5-in-1 comes in a big bag, small bag and also pellets i think. I basically put 1 block of peat with 1 big bag, added lime and some of those extra pellets, gave it a little water with some Gogo juice added (bunnings). I am no expert i've only just started doing organics so i'm just going by what i can and can't find at bunnings, masters and online. Only other thing is when you put it in a pot add 1/3 perlite, a couple cups of vermiculite and grab some mulch and put it over the top so your soil doesn't dry out so much.
Cheers heaps mate aye ! I been scratching my head for weeks trying to come up with a mix I can manufacture from the sources we have here in aus . Searching for ewc and bat guano that I clearly was never gonna find ! U just made my life a lot simpler , owe ya a beer m8 thanks again Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
They 3 biggest are a month old but small due to the ridiculous heat we've had here but now the temps have dropped 3-4 degrees they are growing about 1cm a day. The biggest one is a kc42 thats about 2 months old that i am actually quite proud of due to the fact it was pretty much dead at one stage but i nursed it back to life . My first soil mix must have been a little strong so you can see a little burn but they are over it now. The little one doesn't like the heat but it will get over it like the others. Unfortunately i don't have alot of ventilation options where i am right now so i'm just using what i've got. Back left - kc brains kc42 Back right - ata tundra Left - mendela seeds - ganesh Right - super skunk
Only got the one , been in the tent 4 days now , was outside for a few weeks to start off , got my tent alittle late and she's thrown a heap of white pistols from the light change outside , it back to 18/6 now , shouldn't hurt I hope Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
That's from the led light , only since it's been under it it's done it , tent is ventilated aswell Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yours certainly look healthy , lush and green , mines a dark green with light green new growth , different dtrsins too obviously Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Trust me they didnt look like that a couple weeks ago the temp change makes all the difference. Changing it back to veg won't make a difference at least you know it's a girl. All mine are reg seeds and i've already culled one male so im hoping for at least 2 females.
Was actually hoping to have these almost done by now but the heat made that impossible. Got some fem seeds i wanted to plant but i will save them for next year probably.
