  1. in a closed growing environment i hear people saying they are going to need a dehumidifier. where is the humidity coming from. i always see people with not enough humidity how does closing the room in accumulate humidity?

  2. Humidity just depends on your natural habitat....mine is usually areound 60%. When it rains its higher...have a drought? the number is sure to be much lower.

closing the room just keeps the air thats in there....in there...

When my humidity was low i put 2 cups of water in direct light to increase it...

  3. and you have a closed environment??

  4. Plants transpiring raises humidity.

  5. Having gallons of damp soil in a box raises humidity too.

My humidity is significantly higher on watering days.

  6. I heard you can get mold if you don't circulate fresh air from outside into the grow room.  I know the humidity would play a big factor with mold as well.  I am wondering if you have no way of circulating fresh air into your room can you still get away with the dehumidifier and an oscilating fan?
