Any advantage to not cleaning bong water?

  1. I really don't see any need to have dirty bong water, if my bong is not in use its dry and i clean it after every use.

  2. Simply put, taking care of your bong is a great habit to get into.

  3. honestly man you should consider getting a charcoal filter. For some reason there isnt a strong consensus that they are all that great. But they honestly kick ass.

I was the same way, every night id our my water out, 1/2 the time id throw some alcohol in there. I cleaned my entire setup at least once a week.

Then i decided to try the charcoal filter. I still changed the water pretty often (id let it go a few days sometimes), but I go a solid month before my downstem needs any alcohol.
Sometimes Ill hit the bong w/o the filter and the downstem gets dirtier from 2 bowls w/o the filter than it does 2 weeks with the filter.

Likewise Id imagine dirty bong water doesnt filter the smoke as much, so keepin it clean probably provides the cleanest hit.
