Yup, little black ants. I'm pretty sure they're after the water, and I'm wondering the best way to deal with them. It's ebb and flow in hydroton and it looks like they're trying to take up residence in one of the buckets with a plant. 1. Are they dangerous to the plant? 2. What's the best way to deal with them? I was thinking of putting some any bait traps on top of the hydroton and all around the rez and just give it a few days.
They wont do much harm fortunately. Set up a few traps in the area and that usually gets rid of them.
