  1. Is it ok to smoke while i take anti depressants? I go prescribed welbutrin and i just started taking it will weed cancel out the effect? Cus i smoke everyday
  2. That's something you should ask your doctor.
  3. Are you like wondering if its going to kill you? Well its not.

Still, if you ask me, no one should be taking any Rx antidepressants for any reason, period.
  4. i was taking lexapro/paxil for years while i smoked - those were anti-anxiety meds though. I still got high - i didnt die and only side effects were from the meds themselves.

I would never take those pills again though - i would get brain zaps(electrical shocks) in my head if i missed a dosed.
  5. Fuck pills. I was on prozac for half a year, and just stopped randomly and smoked hella weed. Now, I have almost no depression.

Come on, you have will power.
  6. Everyone's body responds differently. I don't have any issues with smoking and being on an anti-depressant.
  7. Wellbutrin is this worst drug ive ever been on
  8. A side effect from weed and Welbtrn, hungry, thirst and weed will enhance effects of anti-depsnts!

Take a short cut, smoke more sativa!

  9. no, it wont... they are absolutely fine together, as far as kinetics go

BUT: if you're taking anything for your CNS you should let it do its thing and work for a couple weeks before you start smoking.

    my .02 cents
  10. I found my anti-depressants helpful at first. After a while I grew a need for them and felt and emotional dullness in my life. I took myself off them once before and it turned out quite badly because I didn't know what to expect. Second time I did it alone again and I've been off them for 2 or 3 months now.

Stuff's starting to work out, gotten past that mental wall.
  11. No i'm on welbutrin as well, it doesn't do anything
  12. I have been on wellbutrin for almost a year, and I have been smoking for almost 5 years, I haven't noticed a difference in my highs.

Wellbutrin has helped my depression a lot more than my anxiety issues.
