Another Question....

  1. Hey all

Thanks for the help and advice thus far......it's all been very useful.

Just another quick query regarding my now flowering plant; I now have her on a 12/12 light cycle, indoors, as the weather is now too changeable. Should the light be direct, strong light at this stage, or will ordinary daylight coming through the window suffice?

Also, what is going on with my leaves? Several are still falling off, and I am panicking this might happen nearer the buds.

I'm repotting her this weekend, as I got all the bits yesterday, so I'm hoping that will help, but any expertise you may have, gratefully receieved!

    Thanks in advance
    LGxxx

  2. Your plant looks nice and healthy. If she's in direct sunlight it should be fine.

  3. Thanks, Swets; should I not be concerned about the falling leaves?

  4. If alot are falling maybe but just a few is normal.

  5. Every morning I pick up a handful of leaves that my girls have dropped. It is perfectly normal.

  6. Excellent, thanking you, please:D

  7. Are the falling leaves yellowing first? Are they falling mostly from the bottom of the plant? If yes to both then this is normal as the plant begins to eat its own stored nitrogen. From the photo it would appear to be pretty early in the cycle to be experiencing this, though. You could continue to use some fert with a good N concentration for the next couple of feedings to keep from losing too many leaves too early.
