Hi all, I have a few bubblers running under 800 watts with a variety of plants. Most are doing well. I have 4 plants in one bubbler, 3 plants are doing very well and are about 6 weeks into flowering. I have one plant that until two days ago was doing very well. I decided to move the plant a few inches into another basket to open ip some space. Since Imoved it all of a sudden the plan looks droopy, almost like a soil plant that was over watered, or a plant that cant feed. I checked the ph it is perfect, and the other plants around it are thriving, I checked the heat, the water temps, the timers, etc.. I just cant find a common denominator that would explain this plant all of a sudden going into shock it would appear and starving before my eyes. The only thing I can think of is when I moved it I had to untangle the roots from other plants so I could pull it out and move it, I was very careful and didnt cut or tear any strands of the roots. Anyway after moving it it has been dying slowly and drivign me nuts. I just today after two days of monitoring and worrying about I moved it into another bubbler right next to the one it was in, hoping that it will bounce back. Any ideas? There i no yellowing or other obvious signs of problems, I am sorry I dont have a pic. The leaves were all standing tall two days ago, I moved it and now all the leaves are droppy real bad and the plant looks like it will be dead any day now. I am baffled as I saidthe other plants are thriving and doing very well, there isnt anything liek this happenign top any other plants. What shoudl I look at? What would you consider a possibility? Thanks in advance for any help. The strain is papaya, around 5 weeks of flower, in a bubbler with 800 watts, fed with pure blend pro liquid nutes for hydro, bloom formula. Air temps in the 80's , water temps arodn 75 F and 12/12 lights, good venting with a dayton 465 cfm exchanging air directly to a window with a couple of fans moving air in the room, all other plants are thriving and this one was doing great until I moved it. Thanks again, Lump
time thats all you can do. make sure to talk to it and ask for forgivness for dirupting its harmonous state and reassure it that it will be ok.
Merciless: yeah Papaya.? Nirvana strain, very high potency, sweet taste, first time I have grown it, so far so good. I already spoke to her and apologized for the move, I dont know, I hope to find her tomorow on her way back to good health, otherwise I cant imagine she is going to last another 12 hour cycle in this shape. I hate a mystery. Lump
Could it possibly be that it is getting a lower are supply then the rest, via water not air. this one sounds tricky... are the plant's root sytem as good as the others too?
Well, I dont know, I moved it and made sure the bubbler was kicking, the roots are in good shape, this morning it is still looking bad, all droopy and dying, I just dont get it. I dont think there is anything I can do, all the basics are coverd as far as I can tell. Thankfully my other plants seem to be fine and not having any issues like this at all. I pulled one this morning and two others will be coming out in a week or so. Lump
