Another New study released yeaterday connects marijuana and testicular cancer

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by Ronald U. Swanson, Sep 12, 2012.

  1. i didn't see anything to back up what they say?

  2. Its the same study that was out a few days ago, its just beginning to be reported on, for starters.

More so, I want to read the study word for word before making any judgements. But it doesn't seem to be available right now which leads to believe it hasn't passed peer review (obviously other factors could be present).

I wonder if they took cell phone use (duration and location on body) and storage (duration and location on body), x-ray, or any other daily things that one could come into contact with that emit radiation. Obviously the Marijuana smokers are prone to the cancer, but the link could be correlated with another action or issue that only those affected by the cancer went through.

  3. THIS JUST IN, pigs can fly!

advances in sciency researchy stuff have allowed us to conclude that, pigs are in fact able to fly

    sources; catapult, gun powder, canon

what my above post is ment to show, is that there are a ton of things that could give us testicular cancer, and studys are usually bullshit.

a group can state a general "myth" like "pigs can fly" and most people would be amazed and would not think to second guess it if it came from a "repuable" source

but can pigs really fly? not in the sense your thinking, the way they test these studies is almost as important if not more important than the result itself

by catapulting a pig, you are causing the pig to fly, regardless if it can or not

    annnnnnd...... i lost it fuuuuuuuuck

use your imagination for the rest blades, i need a toke to get my mind back on the right track, then maybe i can finish my thought trail lol

  5. It's like saying if you consume sugar and fats you have a chance of becoming obese.

  6. sounds like a load of bullshit to me... pretty sure weed has anti-cancer properties and a lot more studies say that than this

  7. they never mention anything about diet exercise cellphone lifestyle etc. i am definitely willing to bet that a stoner will eat far more fast food and be more likely to do other drugs another many time proven fact that keeping your phone on your belt buckle will decrease your sperm count by a noticeable amount and in recent years everyone has used far more cellphones

  8. Yet another reason for me to be happy to not have testicles!

  9. the ladies get blue waffles, didn't you hear? there was a study on it

  10. Doesn't Masturbation prevent this?

The "link" - So they found that, by correlation, men who smoke weed may be more prone to testicle cancer... BUT what if people who smoke weed are more likely to smoke tobacco, drink/other drugs or even lead an unhealthy lifestyle even though they appear healthy (sleep patterns//whatever)

Just absolute bull**** again, they will never bring out a study that scientifically proves weed significantly increases the chance of any major health risks, 1. because it doesn't and 2. because it'll always have a billion variables, it skips through the eyes of those who buy into their propoganda and make people who poke holes in the study sound like they're making excuses.

Edit: If weed causes cancer then where are all the pot smokers with cancer? Besides from the ones who are using it to help beat it - oh yeah.

  12. It said something on my med card form papers about risks of testicular cancer. I thought they were just fuckin around tho. That would suck.
