I was looking at some hps bulbs at menards, they have a pretty big selection but i asked a worker for the fixtures to plug them into and they are all outdoor things that wouldn't plug into a inside outlet. Anyone have info on how to make these work?
do the fixtures run on 240 watts? typically the MH and HPS fixtures intended for greenhouse use are usualli 240 watts. not quite sure watt you mean by outdoor. maybe you could give me some more info as to wat u mean.
Custom wiring job? Its quite simple actually. Just go buy an extension cord, cut it, strip it, take the plug from your light, cut it, strip it, wire nut the extension cord to the stripped wire. Plug it, done.
