Right now I am still 3 weeks or so from flowering but wanted to know what you guys think of my lighting. I currently have 1 150W HPS and 2 4ft. floros with two bulbs each. The bulbs give off a little more of the red spectrum then most bulbs. I would like to get another HPS but think another 150W would produce to much heat. Would a 70W light be a wast of my time or a good investment. I am growing 4 super skunk plants in a small closet. I hope to have at least 2 females.
The specifications of the grow room a little better, but by the sounds of it, you should have enough light...If i was going to do anything to improve the light situitataion, I personally would be going with an additional set up 4' flouro's....or maybe 2 sets of 2' flouros for the ease of movement of lighing apparatus....but yeah heat may be an issue
i really don't have any place to put more flouro's with out hanging them and that would block some of the light from the HPS. The only reason I am asking is because on my last grow the buds were not all that big. The were an ok size but I was expecting more.
It isn't as if you can have too much light? Obviously, too much heat is no good, but you simply can't have too much light. elrod
