Another "help the noob not kill the plant" thread

  1. I have a seedling, that's about two weeks old. It was doing great until the day before yesterday when it started getting yellow. I thought maybe it was too close to the light so I pulled it back a couple inches. I only watered when the soil was dry, when I watered to saturation. I've had it covered by a little gladware cup to keep moisture in (I was thinking of the soda bottle seedlings from grade school, the tiny green houses). Haven't gotten a fan yet. Obviously no nutes or anything like that yet. I'm doing this grow super thrifty by necessity, but obviously I'm doing something wrong here and I would appreciate any advice so I don't kill my plant (especially since I'm out of seeds and I'm not sure I could convince my hubs to let me buy seeds if i kill this one and I so rarely get bagseed)

  2. Dude take off the cover ur seedling is established just make sure that it gets plent of sunlight and make a watering schedule. I water my plants 3 times a week and leave the seedling alone let nature run its course. Too much love will kill it trust me i am on my forst grown and lost 2 seedling water it and leave it alone my plants are about a foot tall now

  3. Get a proper 4" pot with holes to let the excess water runout, it's gone yellow due to toxic shock, wrong soil mixture, use seedling mix, keep well ventilated....is it still alive???
go to my blog to my library and read up
