Hey everyone, I've been reading a lot of the forums on grow tents but still havent found some of the answers I want... I will be having this grow tent in the attic/storage in my friends apartment. Going to buy a grow tent that is 4x4x6. I'm thinking either virtual sun or gorilla, doesn't anyone have any first hand experience with any of them?? Does anyone have a good way to hang the carbon filter,fan,ballast in the grow tent? Seems like the hangers they give you on EVERY grow tent seems to break. Also I have decided to go with either 2 400w hps/mh or 1 600w hps/mh. Would the 600w be better or would heat be an issue?? Any help is appreciated!!
I have a secret jardin 5x5x7 tent with plenty of ports on it I have my light hanging with adjustable bungies(you can buy lil light raiser strings at any Lowes type store
If you got a big enough inline fan I would recommend 600w more light spectrum and Shyt but you gotta be able to cool it n you can look at my grow and I have pics of the setup just look at it to get an idea goodluck lemme no :high:haha
Just rock a 600w light, also keep in mind,(since no one mentioned it to me) that you have to assemble the tent in the room its going to be in. Its a mofo setting up a 5'x5'x7' tent in a room roughly 5.5' wide by 7'3" tall. Was not fun what so ever. Edit: oh and keep that damn ballast out of the tent! That's what cords are for.

I rocked (still do) a 240w led in my 3x3 tent. The general rule on lighting is 50w per sq ft. So I'd still go 600w mh/hps. Whars the reason your thinking led?

Your still gonna need a fan, LED's put out more heat than i would've ever assumed, that was the reason i chose led, and what a disappointment that was. And a filter is an absolute must! And a filter won't work without a fan. Regardless of how, where, and why you grow, there are certain things that are just essential.
