Another CFL question, that probably has an answer already

  1. any lamp fixture that is rated for that many watts will be fine. you can usually buy them from any hardware store for less than a £1

    I have no experience with aquarium lights, aren't they usually t8 florescents?

Okay thank you that's what I thought, I've tested it in a 150 watt fixture and it heats up a decent amount, I've also been reading grow guides, and am pretty sure a few splitters and regular CFLs. Work just as well. I am using the CFLs for supplementary light when i take my babies in at night. They seem to like it and are doing swimmingly.
