  1. a strage dilema this...

whether or not to take up an offer of a months work in our mutually favourite place in the world, Holland.

....hmmm.... now that i've writen it there like that i'm wondering why its a dilema at all?! fear of the unknown perhaps? my rarely adventurousness shines through?

  2. Digit...go for it! Whatever it is you want to do the most...whatever it is that has your heart pounding even harder...that's what you need to do. Don't fear the unknown, let it fear you. You kick ass, Digit, and no matter what you choose to do, you will be great at it. Do what's going to bring you the most happiness. One of the life lessons that I've learned so far is that there is nothing that makes you ache more than regret. If you think that you'll really regret not doing one of these things later in life, then I recommend you get out there and do it!

    Good luck!!! :)

  3. Go to Holland!!!!!

    Go to HOlland!!!!

    Go to Freakin Holland Dammnit!!!!

if that's your dream and you have an opportunity to live your deram, don't let anything stop you, or else your whole life after that you'll be haunted with "what if?"

The best decision i ever made in my life was to pack up everything i can fit in my car and follow my dream, and now life is sweet, i live in pardaise, i stay stoned all the time and ride everyday, just cause i wasn't scared of taking the chance. If i played it safe i'd still be in florida, broke, miserable, depressed, and sick, and absolutelyt hating life like i was when i was there.

    Peace

  4. well i dont know exactly what youre doing in holland, but i know what you could be doing when you get there.. smokin some of the finest bud in the world man, i would go for it. i also heard that they legally sell shrooms over there... DAMN i want to go!

  5. dare to to do something. You may regret it but atleast you will have done it.Worst thing you can do in life is nothing.[IMG]

  6. *smacks digit upside his head*

Ya been putting Robotussin in your oatmeal again boy?

What are ya doin hanging around here posting polls when you should be packing?

  7. Go to Holland. Really I mean it. Go. PLEASE GO!

  8. GO GO GO !!!
dont do that crazy Orcadian job. goto holland and if ya ever decide to come back :) get wasterartist up

  9. thnx peeps.

    :)

i think i knew that would be the answer but i just needed ot hear someone else say it to give me that little push ... and mum aint being very supportive or helpful on this - infact she been downright discouraging ... which really doesnt help with fending off the depression... cow. :p

i've said i'm up for the months position in Holland, and now i just gotta wait to see if all the 'good words being put in for me' pay of.

the application was sent of to the Orcadian pre-press & commercial design dept... i wonder if i'll ever hear from them again. It's funny cause all my rellies (mum and gran anyway) are all excited about this job. I'm not. and i explained to them why i'm not. When i was in Dundee i must have applied for somewhere between 150 and 420* different jobs suited to my skills and only ever had about 6 responces in total. so after that you kinda loose the buzz and excitement of "ooooh, will i get this job."

*i just added 20 more to my usual estimate because of where i am and who i'm telling ;p

WastedArtist.com really needs my atention .... i havnt added anymore screen size images, i havnt corrected little glitches with rognvalds last batch, i havnt added the Tony Bliar comics, And i have loads more images i need to format for the site.

Kexin... the moment this thing starts making money i'm gonna head hunt u from your folks... cos u know they ripping you of for cheap labour anyways ;p hehe and i know u got some skillz. :D

if i get this li'l doohicky in holland, i can be up and left in a matter of days... all i need is a toothbrush, a passport, my graphics tablet and a cd with my software on it. ... and the tickets i imagine.

  10. i cant beleive i didnt pick up on this earlier...
i know i'll be doing that when i get there... fact is i was already doing that when i was jobless in Dundee... i had some damn good contacts down there. :)

  11. follow your dreams man otherwise life will suck. thats all i gotta say

  12. cheap labour #1 here

  13. you should always do what you want, not what others tell you to.

i'm a chronic short term thinker tho' :)
