Of course it's going to effect the movement. Everything they do is just another way of telling the government to put out more restrictions on everything. They should just retire, it was cool for a day a few years ago. Now it's just fucking everybody over. Not to mention the same people who started it back whenever the fuck aren't even around anymore.
If they can actually do this it should be a good thing for the movement. If they people know the real reason for prohibition, and why it's kept up despite being so expensive, then the public opinion could drastically turn against the policy in a much stronger way than it is now.
