I have about 4 or 5 D-Link wireless usb adapters for some reason. They're all just chillin' in my electronics drawer... If I took one, changed the MAC address, and used it in my laptop on a Public Wi-Fi... using tor and proxies... How safe do you think I am?
Safe from what, A guy with a gun could smoke you ez, proxy wont save u And thats what happens when you use tor in public. Try it.
Tor on public internet is good enough if you use strong end to end encryption for any sensitive information. No need to use a possibly malicious proxy, heck you might be better off not using a public wifi at all. Use obfsproxy to hide that you're using Tor to your ISP
