Im starting a outdoor with a old head this summer. Hes grown tons of pot apparently. But i asked him about how were gonna keep the deer off and if we were gonna use a any training methods SO here is our plan. 1. Veg till 8 - 10 inch tall 2. plant at 45 degree angle and tie top to the ground repeat as plant grows 3. as it grows put a cage over top the plants so deer cant reach them. so he want to grow pot like my grandma grows watermelons. crazy ? i wanna know if this is a good idea, sounds to me like it will work but i wanna see if the pros got a better way.
ya sounds like a vertical scrog with a cage instead of cylinder. I guess u could say all direction bc it will scrog it every way.
