My college's acadimic advisors. Those clowns dont know shit. I have been working on getting my bachlors degree for a little while now. For the last 2 semesters, i have thought i was getting close, then i will have a meeting with an advisor and he will totally fuck me. The school changed catalogs while i have been there so i get the privilidge of picking between the 2 catlogs. I find out today i am taking 2 classes i dont even need to take, one is a fucking freshman math, so it looks like my schedule for the semester is about to get alot easier, sucks because i am only 5 classes away from my bachlors, and now im only taking 1 this semster Maybe ill get done one day.... Anyone else here ever get fucked over by their school administrators or advisors?
I know one of my friends is going to have to go for at least 6 years to get all the classes he needs for his bachlors, when he was told at the start of things that all the classes he needed would have a spot reserved for him. So he thought he would get done in four years, now he's counting on at least six, so I guess he got screwed over. This is the main reason I'm going to a private college next year. Sure it has block scheduling so I have a summer semester (school in the summer, FUCK THAT... I know) but I get my BD in 3 years guaranteed... fuckin' college
Your exactly right. There is a big private college here, and the people i know that go there say the teachers are alot better at talking to you after class and helping you out. Thats how my highschool was, it was private, and when you basicly pay teacher's salaries, they are alot more willing to help you out. God i hate government education. My girlfried has gone every summer since ive known her (3 summers), and im thinking about taking a class this summer so i wont have so many in the fall. Summer class isnt that bad if you dont overload yourself.
Yea, when I visited the place the classrooms where about the size of my high school's, and 30 computers at least in every room with OC3. only problem is the $42,000 it cost to go there... think of all the pot I could buy... fuck I could buy a warehouse and a shit load of equipment and grow an assload of pot... hmm and yea, summer semester is only 3 or 4 classes day monday-thrusday, so its not too bad.
