Hey guys... I germinated 6 seedlings and potted them yesterday. Here's the deal; I wake up this morning, and they're all tilted over, seedlings sitting there, in the hot sun next to the window. It so happens my cat had a great time tossing them over while I was sleeping. They were all dried out and brownish-dead when I saw them, barely 10 minutes ago... I feel so down. ....I'll kill that cat once he shows up.
Bummer. Next time put them in a moist paper towel, put the towel in a zip lock baggie. Do not seal the bag, put bag on top of your computer. They should not see bright light or bright sunlight and should not be exposed to too much heat. Check the bag 1-2 times per day.
I do the paper-towel thing. I just seal them inside a plastic containder and put them atop my computer screen to keep them humid.
