During the summer I was hickhiking back home, and an old hippie picked me up. While in his car, he looked at me, and told me he saw himself. This was right before he packed a bowl and started talking to me about "the best way we can legalize herb". According to this man, the best course of action is to "out grow the government". You see, he explained to me that if everyone starts growing, then there will be a copious amount of herb everywhere in America. And once herb is EVERYWHERE, the government wont be able to stop it, because that would consist of throwing every one of our asses in jail. And they wouldn't be able to throw the whole country in jail! Then before him and I departed, he asked what I had for a stash. I told him I smoked the last of it, and he gave me a nug "for my travels".

yeah,i think we tried that..for years the best way would is to play by the book and just a bill to pass,so we don't seem so defiant.I mean,we have a strong case to pass legalization,if the nation was more educated on the matter of cannabis then they would be reluctant to for yes on an legalization bill.Education is key cuz KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
You make a strong statement, and I agree completely. We have to be careful though. Because if we pass it, we can't let the government get there sleazy fingers on it, because if they do, they will fuck it all up with additives and such. We need to keep herb pure! and keep herb at a level where it's grown by the people (strictly in my opinion, of corse)
well, i think there will always be corp. farming and local farming,and with legalization will come the option to grow your own,but of course, people want to buy there weed too ,just have to be careful and need to be informed if there is or isn't any chemical posioning to the buds,BUT i would hope they would set up a quality control system similar to those in any other product that is ingested into the body
You make a lot of sense, but just seeing what the government has done to tobacco worries me =/ And I can see the government pulling some monopoly shit if they got a hold of weed. Ya' know? Like beating the prices of all the local dealers, so that they go out of business. From there they will poison the weed with additives (like stated before), and have control over yet another money maker. I know I'm probably wrong, but I just have no faith/trust in our government. Especially when money is part of the equation.
well if something like that does happen,it wouldn't bother me much,the freedom alone to smoke freely would be enough for me to have the government do whatever,it's not like their going to make it mandatory to use chemicals and on the off chance that they do make it mandatory, i'll just grown my own. It's all good

Well tobacco has been fucked up for a long time, if they tried to fuck with bud most people just would not buy it and would keep going through personal dealers. Bud smokers know about strains and good bud against shitty bud. I figure most people who smoke tabaccy couldnt name even 1 strain of the plant. Theres a big difference imo
this kind of civil disobedience is always a good addition to our efforts, but it shouldn't be our only approach. governments could hold out for a long long time if this kind of approach isn't accompanied by other strategies and widespread public support
No that would not work you have to think like the goverment ok, they would obviously just release murders and rapest's to put the growers in jail.

This is NOT a free country at all. I feel as though it's just a giant illusion.-Wiat, idea!! The government see's us trying to legalize weed, and they see us pretty much saying, "We want to smoke weed, and have it be aloud." But what if we find a way to make them eat there words by telling them that, as a free country, we have the RIGHT to get high!

I would love to know all the additives in cigarettes, but there are a LOT there! But are you proposing that we are smoking parts of perfume?
Because marijuana can be ingested in food,it will require different levels of control in marketing. Just as chewing tobacco/snuff is inspected for insecticides and dangerous chemicals,because you are taking them directly into your body. And there will always be a market and supply of "organic" marijuana,just as there is for vegetables and herbs.
