an introduction, or something

Hiya peeps, I'm Jahmin.
Been a grasscity dweller for a wee bit now and have been about to post something a few times but unfortunately I must've seen something shiny and got distracted...until now; in fact this is my first real post on any forum... ever. So if I blunder in any of my posts feel free to correct me on forum etiquette any time. No offense will be taken.
I'm Australian and have lived in The States some years and Europe some other years. I've smoked on and off for 13 years but really very heavily the last 2. Been trying to get that down a bit. Was choofing an oz a week a while back so I had a 7 day tolerance break. Upon resumption of my ston-er-age I stayed around half that amount, worked ok since I get paid fortnightly but ideally I want to be the kind of stoner who sometimes doesn't smoke for a day and who on the rest of the days isn't focused on being stoned every waking hour so lately I've been looking into some other hobbies; horticulture (tomatoes of course) and photography. Have gotten into some cooking and did a few batches of cookies from cannabutter. I bought a magic flight launch box after reading about it on here and am a big fan. Currently gathering up the courage to dispose of my punishing little "agung" glass billy but sometimes when I'm home from work I still need the punisher to punch me in the face once or twice .
Anyway if you're still reading this you're a trooper

I'd say I've been a toker up until now and have just become a grower with a badge of total noob, hehe. I have enough bits and pieces to start something small and have been reading and reading, trying to absorb as much as possible. I'm hoping to pick up some seeds during an upcoming trip to The States but if I can't swing that I've got some dodgy bagseeds from a pretty average sativa strain I got a while back.
Now I'm just waiting for the time to be right for my first grow.

 

I was actually going to do that but then my travel plans came up. So I figured, since I can't start my grow until I get back from my trip, I may as well just pick some up while I'm away. But then again, maybe I'll do both! I was a little unsure as to which company I should go through too so thanks for the link! I'm assuming they're reputable?
