  1. is your garden 1000km wide, mine was till i woke up lol.
i thought alpha radiation couldnt penatrate skin?

  2. if they could wipe out all the nukes it would so great!

  3. Neutrinos are leptons (kinda like the same family as electrons in particle physics) beleive me there are about 100 of them in every squared centimetre of air, and they are supposedly massless (anyone with even the smallest knowledge of particle physics will think- well we're not sure they're massless now, switch- yeah ok but lets assume they are) and it's ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to get them to interact with anything, hence yeah a big fat particle accelerator would be needed, and even then there's no guarantee it'd work.

  4. if we get a gamma burst all our nukes would probably "pop"... but then ... if we get a gamma burst, we'd all be dead anyway.

  5. That idea is retarded and impractical.

50 gigaWatts to run? 100 billion to construct? haha... Did u actually read the article? I bet in another 20 years nuclear weaons as we know them we'll be obsolete anyway.

If man has proved anything its that he'll always find a new way to destroy himself.

  6. Yeah, nukes would be replaced by neutrino weapons.

    PEace

  7. i did read it and i am aware its not practicle, but it is interesting

  8. what about nano-bots.

you just know that some stupid war monger is gonna have selfreplicating deconstructive nano battle bots made to turn the enemy into... cabages, or something equally as silly.

thats gonna be the thing thing that kills us all if we survive beyond nukes & bio-warfare.

  9. ...and heres something else to worry about:

Currently the U.S. is developing laser warfare technology. I read it somewhere a few weeks ago (might dig up the article if i have a moment).

No G.I. Joe type stuff just yet, right now all its good for is disabling vehichles at very close range. Apparently alot of money is secretly being spent to increase the intensity and effective range of these lasers.

The ultimate goal is to be able to beam them down from satelites and strike any spot on the globe with pin-point accuracy.

heh, kinda reminded my of the Ion Cannon Satelite from C&C Renegade (a video game).

Its funny how quickly science-fiction can become reality. Like the nanobots, for example. Ten years ago nano technology didn't even exist. Now almost everyone carrys a cellphone which are filled with nano technology.

Really freaky stuff when you think about it.
