In other news the Dink is dry this morning. Seems much of the leak was the butt plug the divers-hull cleaners scrubbed the end off of. Put the new one in from inside the boat so it can't get scrubbed to death.
@turntostoned TTS will find this funny to no end.
Ahhh it needed a fresh coat of bottom paint anyhow as it was nearly gone. Swapped on the tiny 2.5 hp as it starts dead easy and does idle. Done fighting the lack of an idle on the big 15 hp and it's pig weight in the dink. Scary at full honk as the boats only rated for 10hp.
I have a pair of untested 10 hp Honda 4 strokes I need to look over that one of might be suitable.
I did pull the old hanging hardware drilled through the floor that has seeped forever and poured-plugged the holes with fiberglass so those 4 holes are stone dry as well today. Found a chunk of metal at the site of one of the side leaks and patched both areas when it got pinched between 2 huge boats last year at Catalina when it's real owner used it.

  4. Ran off up the hill to avoid the BS major street closures around the LB house tomorrow. Some half brained thing the collage dreamed up but I'll be happier avoiding for now.
Watered the hell out of everything but with the Santa Ana's kicking it and the usual low humidity that comes with it I'll be calling on some help to go water Sun and Mid week it looks like.
    .
Transplanted everything I could just one tray of 16 plants to small yet to TP.

  5. Sup Brass and Crew! Happy Saturday.

Brass call off these dang winds! Been blowing pretty good here for the last few days. Can feel the truck getting pushed around when I'm on the highways. Keeping the nights cool though wich has been really good for extending the tomato season.

I hope yer doing well Brass!

  7. Rocking along Doc.
I destroyed the smallest 16 plants as no way in hell can I run that many. Got the lights moved a bit and the seedlings and clones sprayed with BT after I found several HUGE catties chowing down on the packed seedlings side. BASTARDS !!!

  9. Begun as a distraction to fend off frustration over not having the freedom to work my babies outdoors, this vegetable and flower garden has quickly eclipsed the indoor efforts; easily five times the volume of soil required so far with about two dozen soon in need of container upgrades; sadly, too rocky a plot of land for any inground planting.

  10. Skippy that's a beautiful huge assed Sego Palm in pic #3.
Ours is a fraction that size and we've had it for more years then I care to remember.
Edit:: Rest of the Garden looks good too (wink)

  11. The palm is the neighbor's; a sadly inveterate and angry drunkard who swears at his dog and blares his music upon returning from work everyday for an insufferable period before going inside to yell at his wife. Makes going outside a dodgey affair timed between his tirades. Wish he could find the peace of spirit which weed offers me but am not foolish enough to involve myself in his journey.

  15. Finally back at the ranch. Plants are fine with the shed in good shape and the yard is ready to harvest.
I'll need to bust ass in the AM and spray Green Cure on everything before the sun gets high but the buds are massive and stinking like a road killed skunk in the hot sun.
