    Does anyone know how lax amtrack security is? Im goin home for break and need to bring an ounce and a bubbler. Im in california if it matters

    They don't search you. When I rode I just put the shit in my pocket, and it was all good.

    have ridden the amtrak pacific surfliner up and down the coast a bunch of times...i have never seen security

    i once went when i saved up enough money to go in one of those small ass rooms, me and my friend and his friend just got two of the rooms that connected, it was bomb, but we smoked a blunt in there..like there was this shower box lol and we all took turns going in there cuz we thought the steam would kill the smell.. and we almost got kicked off, but we had a cool guy that was in charge of our part of the train..so we are lucky. They stop like every hour or 2 for like 20 minutes so people could smoke ciggerettes outside, so thats when we smoked.

    But as far as security goes when u get on... there is none :hello:

    what station are you getting on at? just curious.

    as long as you dont smell, then you will be chill. and i accidently found out how to possibly get a free ride, if your curious...

    I never got searched. I got asked for my ticket once and that was it.

    Amtrak security includes a bunch of assholes!

    This summer my friends and I walked a half mile down the railroad tracks to get to this cool rope swing (like 50 ft. up) to swing into the river.

    When we walked back at the end of the day, an Amtrak security car was waiting by our cars. Took down all our names. He was trying to tell my friend he was gonna be arrested for not having his ID with him. Fucking bullshit.

    just have a ticket and you will be fine

    i take an 1/8 to a 1/4 everytime i go home

    Any of you guys been on the auto train lately? I know this is posting in a 4 year old thread. Just wondering what the security is like these days on the auto train.

    I took an AmTrak bus and train about five hours north in February, they didn't search me or anything. No security really whatsoever.

    I used to take the Amtrak all the time. No security whatsoever. You have a ticket, you're good to go. The last time I have taken it was last year but I don't think much has changed.
