Hey guys, Can anybody recommend nice places to go for a meal in Amsterdam? around city centre I've been to Barney's last time I was over there, the food was good but Mostly stuffed my face with junk food something I want to avoid this time Any advice appreciated, Thanks!

Man, there is this pancake restaurant about a block from the Anne Frank house that is quite literally the best fucking food ever. I don't know the name but it's worth some searching...
Last time I was there I stayed in a hostel right next to Vondelpark, there were definitely more restaurants round there, compared with all the fast food places nearer the red light district and the centre. If you walk right through the park to the other side, away from the park entrance, there was an Indonesian restaurant that we went to. I think it was called Blauw or Blauw Amsterdam. Anyway the food was amazing, I'd definitely recommend it
